  ........... ........... ............ About dotlit

dotlit is an online publication produced by the Creative Writing & Cultural Studies discipline of the Creative Industries Faculty, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.

dotlit features an edited selection of the best new and innovative fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction writing (including biography, fictocriticism and memoir) by young and emerging writers, plus a section of commissioned creative works by established writers.

We are particularly interested in publishing works which utilise the potential of this electronic medium, especially hypertext and other interactive and multimedia writing.

The first issue went online in early July 2000, and featured contributions by undergraduate and postgraduate Creative Writing students from Queensland University of Technology, as well as commissioned works by prominent Australian author Michael Wilding and poet Helen Horton.
