Storyscape
is an Australian website containing a collection of
writings by Lisa Bode. The site contains twenty short
stories with titles including Nude Nasa Kidnappers,
Radioactive Baby and Fisthead Skin Head.
Although the stories are separate fantasy-based tales,
they read in total as a fantasy-based dream, or perhaps
a nightmare.

As
a piece of hypertext, Storyscape is presented in a medium
where design can easily supercede the content with an
onslaught of colour and visual delights. However, the
design within Storyscape successfully supports the content,
which is far more colourful and gruesomely delightful
than any of the design. The use of a light green backdrop
with electric blue text is an effective, aesthetically
successful combination. |

Storyscape main page provides links to each of the short
stories via the title of each story. This
page also contains the author's contact details via an
email address, as well as the copyright details of the
website. A surprising discovery within this first page
was a photo of the author, linked to a small image of
an underwater diver at the top. |
